Closed Captioning Services
We are your one-stop closed captioning provider. When you hire Impact Media for your captioning services, you will be getting quality services, at an affordable price. We can add roll up or pop on captioning, to your television program, infomercial, commercial, movie, outdoor show, promotional video, corporate training video, church program, or internet video. But wait, there's more. We can provide you with complete captioning packages that include both HD and SD formats, along with a captioning file for mastering to dvd and web video captioned any or all formats including captioning your YouTube videos.
We provide an accurate verbatim transcript of your program, to ensure that your message is being delivered to the deaf and hard of hearing accurately, along with meeting the FCC requirements for closed captioning. In addition we carefully calculate the captioning so that your on screen graphics or other pertinent information does not get cover up with the captioning text. We print your program to the tape format of your choice, whether it is in HD or SD format, we label your tape with your information, in accordance with each stations requirements. We ship your tape to the station and provide you with a tracking number.
We provide you with a quick turn around time at no additional charge because we understand the tape that's due Thursday doesn't do any good to arrive on Friday.
Do you need your program v-chip compliant? No problem, we can encode your program with v-chip encoding while we are doing your closed captioning.
Important information for broadcasters:
As of October 8, 2010 the Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2010 requires that all internet video that are broadcast on television must also be captioned on the web. Internet captioning or e-captioning is a different format from broadcast television. We can provide you with a closed captioned web video of your television program in any web video format for a small additional fee.
We Do It All.
In addition to providing closed captioning, we are also a post production (video editing) company. Why is that important? Perhaps you've sent your tape out to be captioned and your client calls with last minute changes and you're working on a deadline; with Impact Media doing your captioning you can make adjustments to your program and ftp us changes, and we'll replace the segments in your program for you. This save shipping multiple tapes and taking the risk of missing a deadline. All our work is done in house.
Perhaps you are working with a media company and they want your show to have a different (800) number on each tape so that they can track your viewer response by markets. We can work with you so that you only need to send us one tape and we will insert your (800) numbers on each tape while we are captioning it. This save you a lot of extra time and expense by not having to provide a new master for each station or market area.

require that you provide the lyrics to us in a word document for
accuracy purposes.
